Arrive by TRAIN from Dar es Salaam to the TAZARA Kisaki railway station and get picked up by the Selous Mbega Camp
KISAKI ANNEX staff.
1st night: On the hilltop Selous Mbega Camp ANNEX CAMP.
The next day a full day game drive with a picnic lunch into the Selous Game Reserve through the foothills of the
Beho Beho range to the Selous Grave and the Hot Springs (Maji Moto), as well as the Beho Beho river area.
2nd night: at the ANNEX CAMP.
Possibility of an early morning walk around the ANNEX CAMP area for those who wish. After breakfast a full day
game drive with a picnic lunch from the hilltops down to the Rufiji River and lakes.
3rd night at the SELOUS MBEGA CAMP Main Camp on the Rufiji River.
Option 1 activities outside of the Selous Game Reserve. In the morning a walk in the mbega forest or a village
tour, in the afternoon a BOAT SAFARI on the Rufiji River.
Option 2 activities inside the Selous Game Reserve. In the morning a walk in the reserve and in the
afternoon a half day game drive, or after breakfast a full day game drive.
4th night at the SELOUS MBEGA CAMP Main Camp on the Rufiji River.
Departure from Selous Mbega Camp Main Camp by flight to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar or drive back to Dar es Salaam.
